These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Anchor desktop application and related services operated by Bastian Binus ("we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing, downloading, or using Anchor, you agree to these Terms.

1. Key Grant

Upon receiving a key, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use Anchor on up to two (2) computers that you own or control. This right is perpetual for the version(s) available at the time of issuance.

2. Key Restrictions

You may not:

  • Share, sell, or redistribute your key
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use Anchor for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove or alter any copyright notices within the application

3. Key Model

Anchor is activated with a one-time key. There are no recurring subscription fees. Your key grants you perpetual access to the version you received and all future updates.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with Anchor for any reason within 30 days of purchase, contact us at binusjonathan@gmail.com for a full refund. After 30 days, purchases are non-refundable.

5. Machine Activations

Each key allows installation on up to 2 machines simultaneously. Key verification is performed locally — no activation server is required. If you need to move to a new machine, the previous installation simply becomes inactive.

6. App Library

All apps available in the Anchor App Library are developed and maintained by us. We reserve the right to add, update, or remove apps from the library at any time. All current and future apps are included with your key at no additional cost.

7. User Data

You retain full ownership of all data you create within Anchor (notes, snippets, bundles, etc.). We do not claim any rights to your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is stored and handled.

8. Availability and Updates

We aim to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Anchor platform or cloud sync features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Anchor is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Anchor will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of Anchor. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your key.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Germany.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of Anchor after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
